At the age of 40,  Bill Cobbs made his first success in a crime thriller movie Titled: The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three.

Bill Cobbs, a television series famous character actor in Night At The Museum and The Sopranos, has died at his home in California.

Bill Cobbs, aged 90, starred in in different popular projects such as Night At The Museum and The Sopranos. 

At the age of 86, Cobbs won a Daytime Emmy Award for the Canadian television series Dino Dana.

In the Canadian television series, he played the title character’s elderly neighbour.

Mr Cobbs in his mid-30s gave up his car salesmanship career, and decided to chase his passion show business after moving to New York.

Who announced the death of Bill Cobbs?

 

Thomas, his younger brother, announced Cobbs’ death on his Facebook page Wednesday.

Thomas wrote in the post on his Facebook page: “We are saddened to share the passing of Bill Cobbs. On Tuesday, June 25, Bill passed away peacefuly at his home in California.

“A beloved partner, big brother, uncle, surrogate parent, godfather and friend, Bill recently and happily celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by cherished loved ones.

“As a family we are comforted knowing Bill has found peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father. We ask for your prayers and encouragement during this time,” he added.
