Delta, Nigeria — Delta State is in mourning after the shocking death of Chief Mrs. Shimite Bello, a senior aide to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Bello, who served as the Special Adviser on Trade and Export, was reportedly poisoned by her husband, Pastor David Favour Love, during a domestic dispute at their residence in Asaba in the early hours of Easter Sunday.
Family sources told Epicstorian News that Bello was in good health just a day prior to the incident. According to a relative who wished to remain anonymous, she had a lengthy conversation with the late adviser on Saturday and found nothing unusual.
“I spoke with her for over an hour on Saturday. She was vibrant and sounded well. I sent her Easter greetings on Sunday morning, but received no response, which was very unlike her.”
