A young man, who identified himself as Remi, lost his life during a violent argument over a loan repayment in Ijeun Titun, Abeokuta South Local Government Area, Ogun State.
A report said there were tensions early Saturday as three individuals allegedly referred to as loan retrieval agents confronted Remi.
Struggling with him, the confrontation with three individuals Seyi, Ayeke, and Bado, turned bloody when Remi realised that he had been stabbed in the neck and sustained severe injury.
Unfortunately, Remi’s loss of blood from the stab wound was significant, ultimately leading to Remi’s death at the spot.
At this moment every one of the loan agents was quiet, staring at the dead body, argument over a loan repayment had ended the life of Remi in a pool of blood.
Bado immediately was surrounded by community youths and handed over to the police, while the two others Seyi and Ayeke fled, the source claimed.
According to a source statement, the other two culprits are on the run: “Seyi is now wanted by the Ijeun Titun Community for his alleged role in conspiring with others to fatally stab Remi during the argument over a loan repayment,” the source stated.
