EPICSTORIAN — Violent clashes between far-right groups, local residents, and North African migrants erupted over the weekend in the Spanish town of Torre-Pacheco, leaving several people injured and exposing underlying immigration tensions.
Authorities reported five injuries and at least one arrest during the unrest, with further arrests expected as investigations continue.
Clashes in Torre-Pacheco Highlight Rising Immigration Tensions
The violent unrest follows an attack earlier in the week on an elderly local man in Torre-Pacheco. While no suspects have been identified, the assault fueled several days of confrontations between residents and migrant communities.
