Addressing business leaders in attendance, VP Shettima emphasized Nigeria’s ongoing reforms under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling it a “silent but resolute transformation.”

He highlighted how Brazil’s progress in agriculture, infrastructure, and energy serves as a model, demonstrating what can be achieved “when technical capacity is matched with national determination.” The official remarks were published on his verified Facebook page.

Brazil’s Vice President Geraldo Alckmin reaffirmed his country’s commitment to a dynamic relationship with Nigeria, noting that the alliance is built on shared values and mutual economic benefit.

He called the Nigeria–Brazil corridor “a platform of potential for both countries to unlock long-term prosperity.”

The event has already opened doors for increased investment, with several private sector representatives in discussions for joint ventures and public-private partnerships in Nigeria and Brazil.
