

President Tinubu approves appointment Of Chief executive officers of two agencies
Abuja, April 26, (Epicstorian News)- President Tinubu gave approval for the appointment of chief executive officers of key two agencies on Friday.
President Tinubu appointed Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA).
Also on Friday, president Tinubu consented to the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA).
The appointment approval by the president was confirmed in a statement issued by the State House Press Release, which it said Dr. Barikor being was chosen the right man for the job because he is “an academic and politician” and “was a member of the Rivers State”.
“President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA),” the State House statement read.
“The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA).
“Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State.”
Special Adviser to the President, on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, added that it is the expectation of President Tinubu to be soon impressed by the performance of the appointed ”new heads of these important agencies”.
The president expects them to “discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation”.
The president seek “unfailing adherence of the appointed executive officers to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria”.

In his concern for a quality delivery of public service, president Tinubu emphasised mory on the need for the leadership of their respectively appointed agencies to ensure true expertise.
