

Nollywood movie actor Junior Pope confirmed dead by St Joseph’s hospital in Asaba
The rumoured death of Nigerian Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, has been confirmed by a doctor at the St Joseph’s hospital in Asaba on Wednesday 10 April, 9:50 pm.
However, the President of Actors Guild Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has previously, a few hours after the death of the Nollywood actor, junior pope, was rumoured and circulated online following their boat capsize, confirmed that he was not dead.
“What God cannot do does not exist. Junior Pope is alive. He is taking treatment in the hospital,” the actors guild president ,Rollas, wrote on his social media handle
Also, according to several other yet-to-be confirmed reports, the loveless-looking body of Junior Pope Odonwodo was reportedly moved to a morgue where the attendants rejected him, advising that he was still alive and should be taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, a crowd of people are seen in a viral video online carrying Junior Pope Odonwodo to a hospital with many of them shouting he is not dead.
The news that the boat that was carrying Junior Pope Odonwodo had capsized and he was dead sent a shockwave to many fans of the actor, although full report of the incident was unconfirmed at the time.
The President of Actors Guild Nigeria comment on Junior Pope’s health State appears to need more proof, as the man had quickly deleted it a few minutes later, having posted a photo of him and written, “What God cannot do does not exist. Junior Pope is alive. He is taking treatment in the hospital.”
Pope was previously reported dead by various news platforms in Nigeria, where it was said Junior Pope Odonwodo was involved in a boating accident on a river while coming from a movie shoot.
Junior Pope’s motionless body was recovered after the accident, which occurred during the journey back from a movie location, on Wednesday, April 10, along the Anam River in Anambra State, according to a report.
9 hours ago before the news broke, Junior Pope shared a video of himself on a boat. In the video that was recorded yesterday, the actor could be heard praying for a safe cruise whilst lamenting that “na only me them born, I get 3 children abi you go raise them.”
He captioned the post below “See me lamenting……The risk we take to entertain you ; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…… Na wahoooooo …. Who does that ??”
