No pressure can change eliminating Hamas, PM Netanyahu tells IDF Sky Rider Unit.

The Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said while he visited the IDF Sky Rider Unit today, at the Zikim Base that there is no ending the war until Gaza never ‘constitutes’ a threat to Israel

Netanyahu was also briefed by the commander of the unit on its unique abilities and its achievements during the fighting, according to the report.

The Prime Minister viewed an exhibit of the unit’s various tools and capabilities, and then spoke with the reservist and conscript soldiers and hearing from them about their activity up until now, as well as their readiness to continue fighting.

Prime Minister Netanyahu to the soldiers:

“There is considerable pressure on Israel at home and abroad to stop the war before we achieve all of its goals, including a deal at any price to free the hostages.

We very much want to achieve another release and we are prepared to go far but we are not prepared to pay any price, certainly not the delusional prices that Hamas is demanding of us, the meaning of which is the defeat of the State of Israel, the report also said.

PM Netanyahu: “We are committed to continuing the war until we achieve all of its goals: Eliminating Hamas, releasing all of the hostages and ensuring that Gaza never again constitutes a threat to Israel. There is no pressure, none, that can change this.”

Also, earlier today, according to the Guardian, the US vetoes an Arab-backed UN resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza, arguing that it would undermine negotiations over a hostage deal.

But question is will the ceasefire deal not interfere with negotiating the release of hostages in Gaza?

Well, as we have seen in the last efforts by the US to help establish a deal, it has appeared like Hamas may not be willing to abide by ceasefires and would continue “indiscriminately firing rockets at civilian targets in Israel” and making their demands.
