The Gombe State command public relations officer, Mahid Muaza Abubakar has, in response to the report of a Nigerian man faking his identity as a pilot , warned the Nigeria citizens to ” not fall victim to scammers.”
Abubakar, however, had made this statement in reaction to Capt JamilL’s statement about a Nigerian man who was dressed in the uniform of the Nigerian aviation officers promising his victims pilot scholarship opportunity in an exchange for one time payment of N900,000.
Then testifying, on behalf of one of the victims, against the anonymous culprit, Engr Zama said, “Someone reported to have lost N900,000.”
And, in an effort to help inform and protect others who may potentially fall victim to his criminal tricks, the police, Mahid Muaza Abubakar, said in a full statement, “Do not fall victim to scammers pls, but in case it happens don’t hesitate to inform your friends (Police) (2)
