Mother of missing Leicester boy in river named by the police as Xielo, says ‘me, his dad and whole family are so heartbroken’

Authorities said Xielo entered the River Soar, in the Aylestone area, at about 17:00 GMT.

Due to poor weather conditions the police’s special team, having searched for Xielo into the fourth day, is yet to find him. missing Leicester boy

Xielo’s family, In a statement, said despite being heartbroken at what had happened” are also grateful for everyone involved in the ongoing search.

“Xielo is a cheeky, funny, friendly, smart, caring and independent little boy,” the missing little boy’s mother said.
