

The INEC Chairman, professor Manhood, assures Kogi State a credible election on his assessment visit.
As Kogi State’s election comes 11th November 2023, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral commission, professor Manhood has on Saturday visited crowther Memo/Sabon Gari polling unit to oversee the progress of the ongoing Mock Accreditation exercise.
This was in effect to ensure preparedness on the part of the officials on election duty before the day.
The Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, on the same occasion, with members of the INEC staffs in Kogi State addressed various issues of concern ranging from the batching and distribution of non-sensitive materials, logistical planning, challenges and preparedness of staff.
Witnessing the ugly face of one of the Kogi State’s election centers, the chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, touched on ways to tackle the flooding surrounding Ganaja Primary School and its near-areas, informing the media that, “INEC has established an alternative RAC Centre in the event of flooding at Ganaja Primary School.”
