Jerusalem, (EPICSTORIAN) Hezbollah’s Aerial Command leader, Muhammad Hussein Srour, has been eliminated in a targeted airstrike by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) in Beirut.

Srour, a key figure in Hezbollah, according to the military, had carried out several aerial terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and military personnel during the “Iron Swords” war.

His operations included the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and explosive devices to inflict harm on Israel.

The Israeli Air Force revealed in a statement that, in recent years, Srour took charge of Hezbollah’s UAV manufacturing initiative in southern Lebanon.

Muhammad Hussein Srour owned UAV production plants

It said under Srour’s leadership, Hezbollah established UAV production and intelligence-gathering facilities, some of which were strategically placed near civilian infrastructure in Beirut and southern Lebanon.

Speaking on his recent attacks on Israel, IAF added that his efforts were part of an escalating threat against Israeli security and its citizens.

“Commander of Hezbollah’s Aerial Command, Muhammad Hussein Srour, in a precise IAF strike in Beirut.Srour advanced and directed numerous aerial terrorist attacks aimed at Israeli civilians,” IAF said.

“During the “Iron Swords” war, he executed several terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers using UAVs and explosive devices.

“In recent years, Srour led the manufacturing project of UAVs in southern Lebanon and established UAV manufacturing and intelligence gathering sites in Lebanon, located adjacent to civilian infrastructure in Beirut and southern Lebanon.

“He was also the commander in the surface-to-air missile unit, commander in the “Aziz” Unit of the Radwan Force and Hezbollah’s emissary to Yemen and the Houthi terrorist regime’s Aerial Command.”

This precision strike comes as part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and neutralize threats to its security.

The removal of Srour from Hezbollah’s command is seen as a significant blow to the organization’s aerial capabilities, reported Israel-based media
