(EPICSTORIAN) -President Bola Tinubu has expressed relief over recent successful military operations against bandits in northwest of Nigeria.
The Nigerian military, particularly troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, have made remarkable progress in neutralizing notorious bandits in Northwest of the country, dismantling terrorist strongholds in the area.

Among the notable successes was the neutralization of Halilu Sububu, a wanted bandit leader responsible for orchestrating terror in Zamfara, Sokoto, and other parts of the northwest.
Sububu was killed on Thursday during a military operation. Additionally, another high-profile terrorist, Sani Wala Burki, was eliminated in a joint operation in Katsina.
The military also made a significant breakthrough in Kaduna, where they busted a terrorist enclave and freed 13 kidnapped students.
These victories follow the President’s directive to the service chiefs to relocate to the northwest until peace is fully restored.
President Tinubu commended the military high command, intelligence agencies, and all security forces for their dedication and synergy in carrying out these successful operations.
He urged them to sustain the momentum until all security threats, both immediate and latent, are eradicated.
Furthermore, Tinubu reaffirmed his unwavering support for the security agencies, emphasizing that ensuring the safety and security of Nigeria remains a top priority of his administration.
