At approximately 7:48 a.m., the Hong Kong Fire Services Department received reports of heavy smoke coming from Ko’s House. Fire crews responded promptly and brought the fire under control by 8:12 a.m.
The fire originated from a kitchen on the third floor of the commercial building, according to official statements.
The slow lane of Nathan Road near Hamilton Street, heading towards Prince Edward, was temporarily closed to ensure safety during firefighting operations.
The road reopened around 9:30 a.m. after authorities confirmed the area was secure and free of hazards.

Police and fire officials confirmed there were no casualties or evacuations related to the fire. Glass fragments resulting from the fire were found scattered on Nathan Road, Hong Kong, prompting a cleanup operation before traffic resumed.
