

The Finnish-based prime minister of Biafra’s self-determination agitators, Simone Ekpa, said the Biafra in exile government has ‘created Biafra Digital currency’. Biafracion
Mr Ekpa revealed this in a statement on his X timeline on Wednesday.

According to him, the adoption of Biafracoin, as contained in its previous establishment of the Biafra Digital Currency Act 04/2024, would enable the Biafran government to provide digital currency to Biafrans through Biafra Coin.
He said that the value of 1 Biafracoin is equal to 1 US Dollar.
Ekpa Encouraged Biafrans to invest in Biafracion as against the Naira value volatility paired to other currencies in the current foreign exchange market.
According to him, Biafracoin will become acceptable on the global stock exchange market and in cryptocurrency transactions once it’s launched.
“The Biafra Republic government in Exile has adopted the establishment of Biafra Digital Currency Act 04/2024, which empowers the government to provide digital currency to Biafrans in Biafracoin. The value is 1 US dollar, equal to 1biafracoin, Mr Ekpa said. Biafracion
“As the Nigerian Naira has crashed, we encourage Biafrans to start investing in the Biafracoin as soon as it is public. The Biafra coin will be on the stock exchange and will be globally acceptable in any cryptocurrency transactions,”he said. Biafracion
This new development, as part of the BRGIR’s movement, also includes the ongoing voting portal unveiled on 1 February with over three million Biafrans who have voted for the Biafra Referendum.
However, the Naira currently, as at the time of reporting, trades at 1,630.66 against the USD at the Official window.
Remember, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu on Monday appeared in court on Monday 26 February 2023 to be trailed for alleged treason by the federal Government of Nigeria.
