Florida Man Arrested for Infant’s Death After Alleged Car Incident During Dispute

A 20-year-old Florida man is facing serious charges after allegedly running over his infant child during a heated argument with a woman. Justin Golden was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on charges of aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide in connection with the tragic incident that occurred at an intersection in Jacksonville.

The dispute, according to police, escalated as Golden was driving with a female passenger and her 8-month-old child. In the midst of the altercation, Golden reportedly stopped the car, removed the baby from the vehicle, and placed him in the road.

Authorities say that as Golden fled the scene, he struck the infant with the car, leading to the child’s death. Investigators later confirmed that Golden was the baby’s father.

Witnesses at the scene recounted the shocking events. Markin Barnes, who was present when the incident unfolded, described the chaotic scene.

“I saw the baby, bloodied and held by a woman,” Barnes recalled. “It was heartbreaking.” As the investigation continues, law enforcement officials are working to ensure justice for the child. Golden was subsequently booked into Duval County Jail, where he awaits further legal proceedings.

This incident has shaken the Jacksonville community, raising questions about domestic disputes and their devastating consequences.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with additional information to come forward as they continue their inquiry into this horrifying case.
