EPICSTORIAN — The FBI said Friday that Donald Trump was hit by a bullet, or a fragment from it, fired by the would-be assassin at his Pennsylvania rally earlier this month.

The FBI, clearing the cloud of questions over if the former president was actually shot in his right ear, said a real bullet was “fired from the deceased subject’s rifle”.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the said bureau’s statement.

According to a previous report analysis, the confirmation by the investigation department Friday marks its latest attempt to calm a political turmoil.

The new statement is the most direct yet from federal law enforcement about Trump’s injury, though it changes little in practical terms, it said.

The FBI Director,  Christopher Wray and some law enforcement authorities “have previously said publicly that it was unclear whether Trump was hit by a bullet or by shrapnel, which is a fragmented piece of ammunition”.

“As I said, I think with respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray testified before Congress earlier this week.

Other fficials, including  American citizens, have questioned whether Donald Trump was “struck by a bullet at all, or ‘whether he was hit by a piece of glass or even injured while falling down”.

Questions about Trump’s wound have stoked political backlash, as the former president has said he

Stirring curriosity about a proof of Trump’s wound continues even after he said I “took a bullet for democracy” in a bicker with Wray on his Truth Social platform regarding his testimony.

Trump, in one of his posts, wrote: “it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard.”

“There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!” Trump posted.

Trump adviser Steven Cheung told CNN that anyone who believes this conspiracy bullsh*t is either mentally deficient or willfully peddling falsehoods for political reasons.”

A US official also has said that Trump should be interviewed, adding that the relevant agency responsible for the investigation of the assassination attempt is pushing forward for a victim statement.

FBI Yet Seeks More Evidence To Unwrap The Scales Of the Shooter’s assassination attempt plot

According to the FBI Thursday, investigators “need more evidence ‘ and continue to examine bullet fragments and other evidence in the attack”.

The agency made clear it has always considered the shooting an attempted assassination of the former president, a media source reported.

“Since the day of the attack, the FBI has been consistent and clear that the shooting was an attempted assassination of former President Trump which resulted in his injury, as well as the death of a heroic father and the injuries of several other victims,” the agency released in previous statement.

It also added that it was “devoting enormous resources” to the quest for enough evidence in its ongoing investigation of the “heinous attack.”
