United States President Joe Biden condemns political violence, noting that it has no place in America.
The United States President Joe Biden has condemned the assassination attempt made on Donald Trump’s life during his campaign rally at the Butler Farm in, Butler , Pennsylvania.
Biden expressed thankfulness that Trump had survived the bullet, having heard of his condition from a doctor at the hospital.
He assured his family’s prayers for the US Republican presidential candidate and all those who were with him at the campaign rally.
The US president wrote in a post on X: “I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania.
“I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.”
Biden praised the efforts of the secret service after Trump was shot
United States President Joe Biden said violence has no place in America.
“Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it,” he added.
