LOS ANGELES, Nov 20 (Epicstorian News) — Hollywood is set to honour the late actor Chadwick Boseman with a posthumous star on the Walk of Fame. The ceremony will take place on November 20 in Los Angeles.
Golden-Era Recognition for ‘Black Panther’ Icon
Boseman will be awarded the 2,828th star on the Walk of Fame, in the Motion Pictures category. The location will be at 6904 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the Hollywood Experience store.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed the event in a public statement. The Chamber’s long-standing Walk of Fame programme administers these star dedications.
Ceremony Details and Key Speakers
The ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time, organisers said.
Boseman’s widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will accept the honour on his behalf.
Ryan Coogler, the director who worked with Boseman on Black Panther, is among the scheduled speakers.
Viola Davis, who co-starred with Boseman in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, will also address those gathered.

Chadwick Boseman died in 2020 at age 43, after a private battle with colon cancer.
Over his career, he brought to life iconic historical figures such as Jackie Robinson (42), James Brown (Get on Up), and Thurgood Marshall (Marshall).

Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said in a statement that the Chamber is “deeply honored” to celebrate Boseman’s “extraordinary legacy.”
