A Georgia toddler , 2, has died after accidentally shooting himself in the chest in a Walmart car park.
The toddler boy, Nakyzi Odums, shot himself on July 3, while his parents shopped for fireworks, and died July 6, Saturday.
Nakyzi Odums sat alone in his parents’ vehicle parked at the superstore in Douglas on July 3, a witnesses told WALB, as they shopped at a stand selling pyrotechnics just feet away.

The parents, Known as Sam Odums and Laileighauna Parks, when they heard a gunshot, rushed to the car and discovered their son was severely bleeding after shooting himself in the chest.
Some bystanders said they heard a gunshot from the Walmart car park before seeing his parents run back to the car to check their son.
The toddler was rushed to a local hospital before being transferred to a trauma center in Jacksonville, Florida, where police say he died on Saturday afternoon, reported DailyMail.
Police investigates the toddler’s death
Investigations has been launched by the police into Nakyzi’s death, to determine how he used the gun and how he found it.
